Tickets cost £2 and are on sale from the School Office, which includes tea/coffee/juice and a cake. There will be free entry for children under 12. Tickets will also be on sale in the Street area next week. If you have any ideas about how to make the event a great success, please let us know. All money raised will go to the Lesmahagow High School Fund, which is used to support activities and events for our pupils

Thank you to everyone who helped to make our Careers Event a great success. We hope that all S3-S6 pupils gathered lots of information about careers and courses. If you have any suggestions about how we could make the event better next year, please let Miss Lee know as soon as possible.

The Fairtrade Club meets every Tuesday lunchtime in Mr Sharp`s Art room, B112 at 1:30 and runs a tuck shop selling Fairtrade goods to pupils in the street during Wednesday interval and to the teachers during Wednesday lunchtimes. All profits go to charity and all S1-S6 are welcome to get involved buying, selling and organising the mobile tuck shop. P Skills Scotland Career Event, S4/5/6
Any pupil who has signed up for the Skills Scotland Career Event at the SECC in Glasgow on the 29th of November must remember to bring a packed lunch or some money for the café. I would advise you to bring a packed lunch as the lunch options are very limited. Any pupil who gets their lunch from the canteen, please see Miss Young ASAP.
All pupils must be in their uniform.

P EMA – S5/6
EMA application forms can be collected from Miss Lee or downloaded from the South Lanarkshire Council website. On the Council website, click on ‘Education and Learning’, then ‘Secondary School Information’, then ‘Education Maintenance Allowance’. If you need any help with this, please see Miss Lee.
It is your responsibility to complete and send the application form.
When you receive an award letter with your EMA number on it, bring this to Miss Lee who will then issue a copy of the Learning Agreement to be signed by your teachers and Parent/Guardian. You should then return the completed Learning Agreement to Miss Lee and the school office will then process your EMA.
Only when you have completed all of the above will the payment process begin. Please see Miss Lee if you have any questions about EMA.
