P          Foundation Apprenticeship

An opportunity has arisen for a limited number of pupils entering S5 in June to attend an event during apprenticeship week. The main focus of this year’s event is to stimulate interest in our forthcoming ‘Foundation Apprenticeship’ programme. The pupils should be considering a career in engineering/manufacturing.

They are keen to attract female pupils or those from an ethnic minority, as these tend to be             underrepresented in the Engineering Industry.

The event will take the form of a taster day.  They tend to make it as practical and as interactive as possible.

They have allocated slots for Lesmahagow on the 8th of March.

Any S4 pupil going into S5 this year who is interested please give your name to Miss Young. There are a limited number of places.
